STATEMENT OF FAITH
We accept the Holy Scriptures as originally given as the inspired Word of God and recognise them as our sole authority in all matters of faith and practice.
We believe in one God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit, sovereign in creation, providence and redemption.
We believe in the Lord Jesus Christ who is fully God and truly man, sinless in His nature and character, infallible in His teaching, Who, by His death, made full atonement for our sins and in His resurrection has triumphed over death, sin and Satan.
We believe we are justified by grace through faith in the finished work of Christ on the cross, and that we have been born again of the Holy Spirit Who now indwells us for our sanctification.
We believe that believers’ baptism is the immersion in water into the Name of the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit of those who have professed repentance towards God and faith in our Lord Jesus Christ.
We believe that Jesus Christ will return again to judge the living and the dead, with eternal glory for the saved in heaven and eternal condemnation for the lost in Hell.
We believe it is the duty of every believer to bear witness to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and the evangelisation of the world.
We believe in the congregational order of church government with the church meeting being the final authority in decisions and discipline according to the Holy Scriptures and guided by the Holy Spirit.
